I added a bunch of new features to EasyAsk&Answer.
Here are some of the new features:
- Permalinks - link to specific questions.
- Automatic Acronym Converter - automatically converts acronyms.
- Add Questions To FAQ - questions that have been asked more than once can be added to form a FAQ page.
The following features are now optional:
- Naughty Words Filter
- Link Converter
- Permalinks
- Automatic Acronym Converter
- Add Questions To FAQ
"Y" to use a feature, "N" to disable a feature. ![]()
Two people have asked for there to be some way for new questions (in the process of being sent to the database) to be cross-checked with questions that have already been answered...this is possible but it will use up too many resources.
Let's say someone asks "how do I make a site?" (and lots of people like to ask that question); the script will check through every answered question for the words "how", "do", "I", "make", "a", "site"...I doubt the results will be very accurate, either.
The FAQ part of the script was suggested by Kim^.
You can add questions to the FAQ as you're answering them by clicking the checkbox and to add already answered questions, you need to go to edit them and click the checkbox.
You do not NEED to upgrade to version 2. It's completely optional. ![]()
